Joanna and her husband Eugene set up Campbell Griffin Music to arrange music for charity and fundraising events, as well as corporate entertainment. In February 2004, they successfully organised and promoted a Benefit Concert in aid of the newly opened Blackrock Hospice. Other groups include The Mater Foundation and various church roof funds!
Following in a family tradition, Joanna is a member of the Rathmines & Rathgar Musical Society. Most notable roles include Kate in Gilbert and Sullivan's Yeoman of the Guard and the Lady's Maid in Lerner and Loewe's My Fair Lady, both in the Gaeity Theatre.
In addition, Joanna has taken part in RTE/Irish Times productions of Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors and Sondheim's A Little Night Music in the National Concert Hall. She has also appeared regularly on radio and television.
Joanna is now concentrating on being a conductor rather than singing with choirs. She was a founder member of the Dublin Chamber Choir and spent two years with Dublin's Christ Church Cathedral choir. She is a former member of the professional church choirs of Clarendon Street and Whitefriar Street, An Uaithne (forerunner of Anúna), Trinity College Singers and Trinity College Choral Society, to name but a few.
